I've been listening to this Pandora playlist pretty much non-stop for the last couple of weeks. I listen to it mostly in the car and at the gym while I'm working out and I just can't get enough. None of it's new or groundbreaking, but I thought I'd share here in case you're looking for some music inspiration.
Do you ever get stuck in a music rut and feel like you can't find any good new music? I feel like that's exactly how I am. It's one of the reasons I love Pandora because it will come up with some new artist or song that I haven't heard that I can 'thumbs up' and return to later.
I love music so much and all different kinds, so sometimes it's hard to figure out exactly what kind of music I feel like listening to at any specific moment. Sometimes it's country, sometimes it's oldies, sometimes it's pop, it really just depends on my mood. I find that hands down I've enjoyed the artists I listed above while I'm working out, but when I'm home, that playlist actually can really annoy me. I'm so fickle, haha.
Anyway I'd love to hear what you're loving right now, I'm always looking for new-to-me music to add to my library!
I miss Christmas music. I really do. I've been looking for new music for a while now, I've been stuck in a country rut and I'm not too crazy about a lot of the newer country lately!! I looked through my pandora to see if there was anything I could recommend but I don't know, do you like bluegrassy stuff? Have you heard of Old Crow Medicine Show? I love their song Wagon Wheel!! I'm gonna try some of the ones you recommended.
ReplyDeleteAlex and I got this crazy opportunity to go to a Florence and the Machine concert for free last year and I'm a HUGE fan now. She is AMAZING in concert and hilarious. Anyways, just going all fan girl on you for having her on your playlist.
ReplyDeleteYou have good taste! I have loved Old Crow Medicine Show for ten years, one of my favorite bands! I actually can't stand that Wagon Wheel version that Darius Rucker did because OCMS's song is so much better!
ReplyDeletehaha she is amazing, I would definitely love to see her in concert.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I love them too. I'm not crazy about Darius Rucker's version, but I kinda feel like that song is so magical and catchy even I could sing it and it would still be good. Haha! Mostly kidding.
