how to brighten even the grayest day, check, check and check.

The other day I was sitting laying around in my bedroom during Riggs' nap with no energy at all to do much of anything.  I couldn't get up from my lounging position, and I couldn't stop staring out the window at the dreary, rainy (in January?) weather.  I tried to think of something to do that would cheer me up and get some motivation flowing, and I had the brilliant idea to get out a pen and paper and actually write down a proper list.  Nothing (okay, there are a few things, actually quite a few things, but you get the idea) makes me more happy than making a list!  Nothing on it is too extraordinary but I thought I'd share what I came up with anyway.

how to have a good (or at least better) day

1.  make a list
2.  drink some tea or cocoa or real lemonade
3.  go on a walk
4.  watch your most favorite movie and cry during the sad parts and laugh during the funny parts
5.  write someone you love a letter, and then send it to them in the mail
6.  read a good book
7.  eat something nourishing and delicious
8.  plan something fun for tomorrow
9.  pin a few new things
