here is me at work yesterday I don't think many people expected a pregnant lady to greet them at REI lol |
His favorite activity is to see how long he can stretch out his legs, pushing his feet against one side of my belly and his bum against the other, which isn't the most comfortable for me. But other people love to feel his little feet protruding from one side of my belly or the other (and of course I do too). He does this all day long, along with other general "floaty" movements. It's pretty obvious that he has dropped and has also run out of space to do any bigger movements, but he's still very active all day every day.
Saturday I will be 36 weeks, and he will supposedly be nearly 6 lbs and about 18 1/2 inches long, according to Baby Center. I believe it about the 18 1/2 inches; it feels like he's longer, since he's always wanting to stretch out further and further. I can't wait to see what he looks like and what all his proportions are when he's born!
At my appointment today, my midwife Barbara said that he had dropped and that she thought he was closer to 7 lbs than to 6lbs...which should surprise me, but it doesn't. She said if he goes to 40 weeks she expects a nice 9 lb baby. I'm hoping to get him out while he's in the 8lb range, but we'll have to wait and see what happens!
Oh my gosh!!! Can you see his feet? If you can while i'm there please please please let me take a photo of that! So cool! Thanks for the update :)
