simple things sunday

This morning I woke up with the realization that both my guys were pretty sick.  Riggs was in pretty high spirits despite his racking cough and stuffy nose, just a little bit more subdued than normal.  Steve was pretty miserable though, and I felt bad for him, his nose completely stuffed and sneezes coming pretty often.  We stayed home from church and had a pretty lazy day.   We did play some board games and I made some soup from potatoes, veggies and our leftover meatloaf.  After nap-time (for both sick guys) we bundled up and headed out for some fresh air.  It was nice to stretch our legs and throw the ball for Tutka, and Riggs had fun (as always) in the sled.  Steve worked with Tutka quite a bit on obedience training, and I loved seeing the two of them so intently focused on each other.  It was a pretty good Sunday, and I'm definitely sad to see the weekend go.
