I'm typing this while Riggs naps and Raina sleeps on my chest. She took her morning nap in her crib for the first time and I missed her so much that I'm definitely not putting her down for this nap! She can be my little blogging buddy :)
I'm so happy to be linking up again today with my hopes and plans for the week. I skipped last week but here's my list from my last post:
one | visit the zoo - I don't know why but this didn't happen. And now I've been to Anchorage so much lately that I don't want to go back anytime soon. So...maybe we'll see you in a couple weeks zoo animals!
two | squeeze in one last date with Steve - We didn't have a chance for this to happen, he worked Saturday and Sunday was just too busy.
|| this weeks hopes and plans ||
one | type Raina's birth story - the last week and a half since baby girl was born has been filled with doctors appointments and visits with friends and family. This week is the first week that we are back to normal, or at least figuring out our new normal with two kids. I would love to get Raina's birth story written down and posted this week.
two | finish binding on Raina's quilt - the quilting is finished on her quilt and now I just need to hand sew the binding on. I'd love to get it done asap so I can take some pictures with her on it while still in the newborn stage.
three | walk everyday - with the kids contained (Riggs in stroller, Raina in K'tan). I'm so ready to start exercising seriously again, but walking is what I'm 'allowed' to do for now.
four | visit Pyrah's - for the last two summers (since we moved to the valley) I've gone nearly every week all summer. This summer I've been a little too distracted/busy to go but I can't wait to get over there and pick some fresh veggies for our table now that baby girl is here and mostly settled in.
Hooray, you're back! I have been missing my fix of Alaskan life!
ReplyDeleteYay for getting back into swing of things, or a new groove of sorts. We can't wait to get out to Pyrah's too, I love that place!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet time in your life! I just can't wait to get to know Raina and I'm so glad the postpartum period is going well for you guys!
ReplyDeleteAww, glad to know someone missed me! :)
ReplyDeleteHoping this week really helps us to get back to our old routine as much as possible while accommodating for baby too. Today was already lovely and I'm so glad! Maybe we'll see each other out in the fields! haha
ReplyDeleteThank you Andrea, I'm hoping it continues to go as well as it has been!
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited to read Raina's birth story!! Love birth stories :)
ReplyDeleteWe've never been to Pyrah's...going to have to add that to my summer list!
Thanks for linking up and so glad you are beginning to find a "groove" with your new addition!
Nice to meet you through the link up! I can't wait to read your birth story! Birth stories are always so sweet and personal!
ReplyDeleteI love to read how much you're enjoying your new babe and life with two, it's refreshing! And I'm glad you're still blogging to give us a glimpse into your world over there, I fell off the bandwagon for a few months when I had my second baby and I wish I hadn't!
