Today we went for our first family bike ride of 2013! And for once all the pictures are of me and Riggs, instead of them all being of Steve. In fact, I didn't even get one single picture of Steve the entire ride, but he was there, I promise!
It was a sunny and somewhat gusty day, but we had fun anyway. Riggs loved it, he was happy the entire time, pointing at things and smiling and jabbering on to himself in his little bike buggy. We have a Burley Bee bike trailer and I love it so much. It's so lightweight and I barely notice it back there - it's so easy to maneuver and it seems really comfortable for Riggs too.
One great thing about where we live is the paved bike bath that goes from the main intersection in our little community all the way (about 7 miles I think) to Palmer. Last summer I rode my bike to Palmer regularly to get the mail and get groceries at Fred Meyer. This summer I'm sure we'll do the same thing, especially since Riggs still seems to enjoy it so much.
